Ms. Xu is of counsel to Watson and Band Law Offices and an Arbitrator of the Shanghai Arbitration Committee.

After graduating from Shanghai University with a major in Sociology, Ms. Xu entered the Shanghai Municipal Supreme People's Court in 1983, acting as a judge of the Civil Division and the Administrative Division, as well as lecturing on Administrative Procedure Law in her spare time at the College of Law of Nationwide Courts, Shanghai Branch. In 1994, Ms. Xu was transferred to the Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Court and was appointed as the Director-General of the Intellectual Property Division. Some cases judged by her are included in the Precedent Collection of the P.R.C compiled by the Supreme People's Court.

Ms. Xu is an arbitrator of the Shanghai Arbitration Committee and the Director of the National Intellectual Property Committee.

Ms. Xu is experienced in representing administrative, intellectual property, civil and commercial cases.
