Mr. Zhang earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Fudan University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the People's Republic of China.
Mr. Zhang focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, and general corporate and commercial law. As a key member of court-appointed administrator teams, Mr. Zhang has managed numerous corporate bankruptcy proceedings, including liquidations, reorganizations, and compulsory liquidations. Mr. Zhang frequently represents a diverse range of clients throughout all stages of bankruptcy proceedings, providing strategic legal counsel to protect their commercial and legal interests.
In his role as ongoing legal counsel, Mr. Zhang delivers a comprehensive range of legal services to domestic and international clients, which includes leading daily consultations and drafting and reviewing critical legal documents. His advisory practice covers a broad spectrum of corporate matters, including corporate governance, foreign direct investment (FDI), and employment law.
