Ms. Rongrong Zhang received both her Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the East China University of Political Science and Law.  Upon graduating, she joined Watson & Band, where she focuses her practice on intellectual property enforcement and dispute resolution.

Ms. Zhang represents a diverse portfolio of prominent domestic and international clients, including Richemont Group, West Bund Group, Oriental Cable Network, China Business Network, Xiaohongshu, the Motion Picture Association, SMC Corporation, EPOCH, Theory, UNIQLO, Kao, and Ducati. She has particularly deep experience advising clients in the fashion and luxury goods, food and beverage, media and entertainment, and technology sectors.

In a significant trademark infringement matter, Ms. Zhang successfully secured a judicial determination recognizing "Xiaohongshu" as a well-known trademark in China.  Drawing upon her in-depth knowledge of unfair competition law, she has also successfully protected the distinctive trade dress of numerous clients' products and retail environments through litigation.

A landmark trademark infringement case where Ms. Zhang represented the defendant was selected for inclusion in the "Top 50 Annual Cases" by the People's Courts Publishing House. In this matter, she successfully defended her client against malicious litigation and pursued a counterclaim that resulted in the full recovery of all legal costs incurred by the client.
