Feng Cheng is a Partner at Watson & Band focusing on corporate law, government affairs and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. She holds an LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law and an LL.M. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ms. Cheng has extensive experience across multiple industries, including consumer products, healthcare, and industrial and semiconductor technology. She represents a diverse client base of multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, and high-growth emerging enterprises.
Ms. Cheng advises multinational corporations on their daily operations, including compliance matters, contract review and negotiation, dispute resolution, and corporate restructuring. She provides specialized legal support to several Fortune Global 500 consumer goods and food companies. Previously, she served as seconded in-house counsel to a U.S. medical device company, assisting with a wide range of legal matters in its China operations. In recent years, she has also assisted companies in the healthcare, gaming, and pet food industries in handling complex compliance matters and business restructurings.
In her government affairs and compliance practice, Ms. Cheng advises leading semiconductor and automation companies on critical issues, including export controls, economic sanctions, trade secret protection, anti-bribery, and product labeling compliance. She has deep expertise in navigating cross-border regulatory frameworks and coordinating international investigations.
